Q:What does it mean to be successful? What does it mean to be a looser?

A: There is no 100% correct answer for these questions, each person has his own definition about what is a looser or a winner. In my opinion, I think looser is someone who is going to do something, but he or she doesn't try it; As long as you do your best, you are successful for yourself. For example, in the movie “Little Miss Sunshine”, winning the Little Miss Sunshine is Olive’s dream; she and her family have been through many things to get a chance to be California for the competition. When Olive is on the stage, she might seem not so successful for the audiences; however, she is already a winner for her and her family, because they try so hard to catch the dream. In fact, to say someone is successful or not which are not decided by other people, the more important thing which is what do you think about yourself?


Q:What are Dwayne's feelings about his family? Are they justtified?

A: Dwayne who is Olive's brother, he has taken a vow of silence whcih is his way to escape his family. He thinks every in this family are loosers, actually it is true. For instance, his Grandfather is drug somker, not only his grand father, everybody in the famiy has big problem.
If I wereDwayne, I probably had that feeling too.
